The area above and around the capital city of Addis Ababa
is completely clear. However,
Directly to the west of the capital, in the city
of Nekemte and the area around it, there exists a large area of low, warm
clouds. Within these clouds are high cold clouds scattered within them. This
area is predominantly green, so I am assuming it is largely forested. The area
around Addis Ababa is still green, but not as much. To the northeast of the
capital, the land is predominantly brown. To the south of the capital there are
three lakes: Ziway, Langano, and Shala Lake. There exists low, warm clouds to
the east of the lakes.Source: www.intellicast.com
The recorded isobar pressure on the close-up map is 1016
mb. This is right in the middle of Ethiopia, in the capital city, Addis Ababa.
This is the highest pressure in the east African area. To the northwest of
Ethiopia, the pressure is 1008 mb. This is the lowest pressure in the east
African area. Directly south on the Ethiopian-Kenyan border, the recorded
pressure is 1012 mb.

On the full-scale map of Africa, Ethiopia seems to have a
consistent pressure. There are no highs or lows close by it. The pressure
around Ethiopia is 1012 mb. The closest differing pressure is the area of Libya
and Egypt which is 1016 mb. There are no front near Ethiopia and most of the
African continent for that matter.
